NEW BRITAIN – Over the past 85 years, Jerome Home continued to expand and now provides skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation and residential care. In 2008, Jerome Home expanded yet again to include Arbor Rose offering independent living, assisted living and memory care. The two communities serve approximately 500 seniors each year on the campus and through extensive outreach services.
In recognition of Jerome Home’s 85th anniversary and Arbor Rose’s 10th, a special celebration will be held Thursday, Oct. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. The event will feature wine tasting, food stations and a silent auction. Wine tasting is sponsored by the Bottle Shop of Unionville.
“The pillar of Jerome Home has been its dedication to the seniors of our area and the reputation of top-notch service to them,” said Lori Toombs, Jerome Home executive director. “We are proud of all that we have accomplished and look forward to celebrating with residents, families and the community.”
