Being a caregiver is a difficult challenge and it is easy to feel overburdened by making financial decisions, managing changes in behavior or even helping a loved one with daily tasks that once were easy. Arbor Rose at Jerome Home offers a free caregivers' support group on the third Tuesday of each month (except August), from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The next gathering will be June 19.
Kate Rabinoff, MSW, LCSW, resident services coordinator, facilitates the group. Arbor Rose at Jerome Home is located at 975 Corbin Ave. For more information or to RSVP, call Rabinoff, at Arbor Rose, 860.229.3707.
Arbor Rose, offering independent and assisted living with memory care on the campus of Jerome Home, is a not for profit member of Hartford HealthCare Senior Services. For more information about Arbor Rose at Jerome Home, visit jeromehome.org.
