Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are invaluable members of our extended care team. As a non-profit community, however, they are especially important to the enhancement of our health care center, where they bring the outside community ‘in’ to many of the residents. The ages of volunteers at Jerome Home vary and include high school and college students, housewives, retired individuals, full-time workers and several of our own residents. Some volunteers earn academic credit for their experience for careers in related fields of study. However, most volunteer for the sheer personal satisfaction of helping others. Hours, duties and commitment levels of our volunteer team vary greatly and are scheduled to suit the individual needs and skill levels of each. Beautician Assistant |

Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays 9:30am-12:00. Responsibilities include assisting residents to and from hairdresser and providing manicures to residents waiting for their appointments.

Bingo Caller Assistant |
| |
Times Needed: Friday Afternoon 2:00pm-3:00pm, Saturday Morning 10:30am-11:15am. Volunteer needed with set-up, calling clean-up and assisting residents to and from program.
